Internal Medicine: Consultation with Abdominal Ultrasound
Includes a detailed written interpretation of the abdominal ultrasound by a board-certified veterinary internist, with diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations.

Internal Medicine consultations have a standard 24-hour turnaround time. Priority and weekend priority reads are not available for Internal Medicine reports.

If radiographs are submitted with an Internal Medicine consultation, they are reviewed separately by the Radiology department. Priority and weekend priority options apply to radiograph interpretations only and do not affect the Internal Medicine turnaround time.
